I am a researcher at the Cognition, Health, and Technology Laboratory (CHTLab; co-led by Dr. Mario E. Bermonti-Pérez) at the Ponce Health Sciences University. At the CHTLab we use technology to understand cognitive functioning in healthy persons and persons experiencing mental and physical illnesses. My primary areas of research revolve around cognitive functioning, encompassing cognitive planning, attention, and working memory, particularly in individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders like attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, mental health conditions such as Anxiety and Depression, and gastrointestinal disorders like Celiac Disease and Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
